From My First Flight to Japan to the Japanese Ambassador's Residence

I never, ever would have dreamed 27 years ago, as I was on my first plane ride to Japan, that I’d one day be speaking to hundreds of people about the U.S.-Japan relationship at the Embassy of Japan in the USA.
